DESCRIPTION

Our new vegan tomato soup is something beyond “the usual”.  The tomato soup contains mung beans, rhubarb – and faroese seaweed. The addition of the seaweed makes it recognizable as part of Munkebo Seafood, and besides, it adds a great umamu flavor, which gives the soup a nice rounded flavor.

The tomato soup contains mung beans, which both add protein and a good feeling of satiety, but also good vitamins and minerals. All our vegan soups are intended for one person, so it’s easy to adjust the amount according to the number of people being serves, which results in less food waste. That, we think, is both easy and smart.
