Salmon appetizer with fresh tomatoes and arugula

INGREDIENTS

 
  • 1 tin Faroese salmon in lemon and basil

  • Slices of your chosen bread

  • Creme cheese 

  • Arugula

  • Cherry tomatoes

  • Lemon juice

HOW TO

  1. Start by rinsing the tomatoes and arugula. Slice your tomatoes

  2. Toast your slices of bread, it’s okay if they get a little bit toasted on each side 

  3. While the bread is being toasted, open your tin of salmon and drain the fish 

  4. Once the bread is done, spread a layer of creme cheese on all of the slices. We used a neutral creme cheese, but you can spice up the dish with any kind of creme cheese, you prefer

  5. Add arugula to each slice of bread and then a couple of  tomato slices before topping with salmon

  6. Add a few drops of lemon juice to each piece of bread, it adds a freshness and acid that goes incredibly well with the salmon
